Nature of Our Service
TrostenLabs develops and licenses automated trading software (expert advisors) for the MetaTrader 5 platform. We sell time-limited software licences only. We do not trade on your behalf, do not manage client assets, do not hold or transfer client funds, and do not connect to or access your brokerage account. The software runs entirely in your own MetaTrader 5 terminal, under your control.
Licence Terms
A subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run the licensed expert advisor on the MetaTrader 5 account number(s) you register, up to the seat limit shown in your dashboard. The licence remains valid while your subscription is paid and active. You may not resell, sublicense, decompile, reverse engineer, share or redistribute the software or your licence key. Sharing a licence key or attempting to circumvent licence validation terminates the licence immediately without refund.
No Investment Advice
Neither the software nor any material we publish constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. We are not licensed financial advisors, broker-dealers, or investment managers. You are solely responsible for every trading decision made in your account, including those executed automatically by software you have chosen to install and enable.
No Handling of Client Funds
TrostenLabs never accepts, holds, transfers or manages money on behalf of customers. Licence fees are processed by our third-party payment provider. Your trading capital remains at your own broker at all times and we have no ability to deposit, withdraw or move it.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for installing the software, choosing your broker, configuring lot sizing and risk parameters, keeping your terminal or VPS online, and monitoring the results. You can disable the expert advisor, switch off AutoTrading or close positions at any time. Automated software can behave unexpectedly during outages, gaps, high volatility, broker restrictions or platform updates.
Risk Disclosure
Trading foreign exchange, metals, indices, cryptocurrencies and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage works against you as well as for you. You may lose some or all of your capital. Past performance and backtest results are not indicative of future results, and live results will differ from backtests due to spreads, slippage, commissions, latency and broker execution. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
No Guarantees & Refund Policy
We make no guarantee of profit, performance, uptime or continued availability of any strategy. Subscription and licence fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time, or dissatisfaction with trading results. You may cancel at any time and your licence will remain valid until the end of the period already paid for.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrostenLabs and its operators are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, data loss, broker or platform failures, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our software. Our total liability is limited to the licence fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
Setup Assistance
Setup help is offered free of charge as a convenience. Any guidance we provide about installation, configuration or risk settings is technical support for our software, not financial advice, and the final configuration and its consequences remain your responsibility.
Privacy
We store your email address, subscription status, licence keys, the MT5 account numbers you register and licence validation logs (including timestamps and IP addresses) for the purpose of operating and protecting the licence system. We do not collect broker passwords or trading credentials.
